Delete your LinkedOut account

How to delete your account and data in the LinkedOut app, from Anish Biswal.

In the app

1. Open LinkedOut and sign in.
2. Tap your picture at the top left to open the menu.
3. Tap Account settings, then Delete account.
4. Type DELETE, then confirm with Google or with the code we email you.

Without the app

Email biswalworkanish@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm it's you, then delete the account the same way.

What happens

You are signed out everywhere and both identities, Public and Anonymous, are hidden at once. For 30 days you can cancel by signing in again. After that, deletion is permanent.

What is deleted

• Your account, email address and login
• Your name, photo, headline, location and career history
• Your alias's details, and the link between your account and your alias
• Your settings, drafts, saved posts, verified work email record and notification devices

What stays

• Posts, comments and messages you wrote stay, shown as from a deleted account, with nothing that identifies you. Delete anything you want gone before you delete your account.
• The log of moderation actions, which we keep for safety and legal reasons.
• Backups, until they age out.
